Chapter 14- The moment

This week's been half term. So making mood boards, making resources for lessons and preplanning everything. I think I'm only just realising how independent teacher training is.

Sounds strange but, theres more assignments and writing then you will ever think. But at least everything is done and ready for when I get back.

I have been on placement and it was good, I most enjoyed the difference in scheme of work. Learning to use new medias, using acrylic paint (as usually I hate using this median) and clay for day of the dead. I used clay before but, I learnt more vocab about the technique, like slip and score and smooth and how to model particular sculptures with the clay.

I discovered sketchnoting. I think I'm going to do this in Face 2 Face lectures from now and onwards abd for my online toolkits. I wanted an art project I will enjoy whilst doing my teacher training, therefore I plan to do a project of my own following Identity. And replicate my bedroom as the Vincent Van Gogh bedroom. Artists below are the inspiration.

I have set up a cardboard A2board and want to paint a part each day. I discovered the Frida Kahlo poster on Pinterest and want to draw or colour the Vincent Van Gogh one.
