Humans have a power...

Last night, I had a dream, I dreamt up a storyline for the regeneration of the newest doctor Jodie Whittaker. I know the new series hasn't even started but it was worth blogging.

I dreamt that at the beginning of the series, she lost a finger, and kept it like Captain Jack kept the doctor's hand.

My dream began mid-action, as a family we watching the news aliens had come and they were taking over bodies just walking right into them. I dreamt I was the companion of the doctor and on that day he had left me a box and told me never to go anywhere without it. I heard someone come in it was two of the alien. Tall and spindly, with bright fluorescent green and small eyes on a human-like face. A three-fingered hand pointed an alien-like gun at both parents and shot. The window was open a jar and I managed to push it open and grabbed the box to climb out the window and run. But it was too late they were already outside.

They grabbed me and the box and took me to the House of Commons by now they had managed to take over everyone. Everyone but me. My friend Coral was one of them and was one of the ones who helped to find me in the house. they wanted the doctor, if they had her then they had the universe.

They took me to a cell and tied my hands to the bard of the cell, leaving the box in front of my feet. I wouldn't let it go when they took me.

"You won't win!" I said as my friend, as the alien left.

I sat there for a while wondering why the doctor gave me the box. Then I remember what he said once, "Humans have a superpower, the will to live." I kicked over the box, pulling it towards me with my foot. only to tip it over and have loads of stuff fall over. Hoping there was something inside to help me get out. Out of it fell stuff that I grew up with, a little pig teddy bear covered in makeup. One of the first bears I got when I was born. My first ever book My naughty little sister, was completely worn it could almost fall apart. So much stuff that held so many memories. The doctor knew they were coming, she knew that memories were the key and humans will power to live is what would save us all.

I looked next to my left leg to notice that a nail file had fallen out of the box. I pushed it towards my hands with my leg and cut the rope around one hand and untied the other. I stood up the box and put the memories (stuff) back inside, keeping it safe. I then went to the cell door and tried looking for a way out.

"Why couldn't he of put the sonic screwdriver in there?!" I yelled in frustration. Even now the doctor was quite clearly a woman, I always called the doctor cause I knew who he was.

I looked at the bars and realised I could fit my head through. I thought this out still feeling frustrated I had to let my feeling out I crumbled to the ground. My back on the bars saying " I won't let them break me, I won't let them break me." I accidentally kicked over the box and out fell a teddy bear holding a heart that said 'best girlfriend'. I picked it up, what if they have him I thought, my boyfriend. Out had fallen the necklace he gave me I grabbed it. holding it in my hand, I laid on my side and squeezed my head through the bars, pulling myself through with my arms. I slipped out with a struggle but I got through.

I then began to try and find a way out but I just found myself running around in circles then my friend appeared again. But to stop her in her tracks I reminded her of the human willpower she had. I spoke true memories and it brought her back. The alien fell out of her back, once they were out they couldn't go back. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see they had him. My boyfriend.

"No, no please anyone but you," I said. He pushed me to the ground I would try to save him but then I realised there were four more with him. We'd be outnumbered. I stood up next to Coral.

"Come on we have to do as they say," I said before she hugged me. They took us to the central point of it and tried to communicate with the doctor. She answered. We were in a room with a console in front of us both tied to chairs and gagged so that we couldn't say anything to wake anyone. The doctor was coming in to get to try and save us.

In the room with us were all important people, the prime minister, the president but also important people to us. Me and Coral people they knew would push buttons. Hayden was standing in front of the console, watching anticipating.

I managed to get my ropes loose, Coral saw and kept her mouth shut. I got up and stood in front of Hayden. He was holding one of the guns.

"And what are you going to say?" he said, as I took the gag off letting its hand round my neck.

"I don't have to say anything," I said as I held up the necklace in front of him.

"you saved me once, you can save me again. I heard reports of the army coming in and beating the aliens, they were coming to the House of Commons. I ignored it all I cared about was him.

"I love you to infinity and beyond x1000," I said, he held the necklace and fell forwards I prompt him up, as I saw the alien fall out the back of him. He looked at me, 'Hi' I said jokingly and kissed him. Then instinct for Hayden kicked in he turned around and punched the alien knocking him to his feet. He still held the gun and point it at them as I untied Coral.

"Coral, you can convince him, Ian." Her boyfriend was in the room as well. Then she did I helped her by telling her to talk about their memories. that was it 4 of us but we were outnumbered. Then the doctor burst through the doors with the army behind her.

I grabbed the gun off Hayden and pointed it at the one who killed my parents, still inside the prime minsters body.

"let go!" I said.

"Grace," said the doctor, I only yelled shut up in reply.

"It killed them, it killed my parents and you did nothing. Get out!" I said tears striding out of my eyes with anger.

The doctor walked over and took the gun out of my hand before hugging me. He then took me to the console trying to get the aliens out. But then behind me stood the prime minister alien, it walk out and straight into me. Hayden yelled "No" but it was too late.

I fell to the ground, collapsing and losing control. The doctor knelt and looked at me and said, "All humans have a superpower, the willpower to live."

I looked at him and said "But what do time lords have?" before it took my voice, "If we can't have humanity no one can" I said before screaming in pain. All of them every human in the room moved and wrenched in pain, all humans in the world taken by the aliens were being killed by them. I lay on the floor the doctor yelling my name,

"I won't let them break me," I said before giving in submission. All the aliens stepped out of the bodies, all dead on the floor.

I opened my eyes and winked at Hayden. I grabbed the gun next to me that someone had dropped and stood with the gun to the alien's head.

"I wasn't gonna let you take humanity," I said.

"but how?" it said.

"Every human being has a superpower, the will to live and I just used mine to save the entire world."

The army then began arresting all the aliens and taking them away, one came up to the one I had a gun on.

"Not this one I will take care of it," I said, with anger still pulsating through my veins.

"Grace no," said the doctor, "what good will it do".

"I need justice, you weren't there it took them, it took them."

"I know and I should have been, I gave you the box because I was trying to remind you of yourself the person you had forgotten, don't forget yourself now." He took the gun off me. I began to walk away with Hayden. then the alien walked into the doctor taking control. Noticing I yelled "Noooo!".

It did to the doctor what it did to us. "If I can't have this universe then neither can he," he said before killing him. It stepped out of the doctor's body lying on the floor. I ran over, saying no repeatedly.

"you couldn't stop could you," I said looking at the alien. " You just had to keep killing." The soldiers took it away. Hayden looked at me, "what do we do?"

"We have to get her to the Tardis, now. I know what happens next." We got her to the Tardis and sat her in front of the console. I sat with her refusing to leave. Hayden tried to persuade me.

"Hayden, I love you but I have to stay, or else I could never live with myself."

I sat there waiting for the doctor to regenerate. They left the door open waiting. Nothing happened for a long while. I held her hand and remembered her reply, what do time lords have? 'They have humans and loads of species that believe in them.'

As I held her hand her hand glowed gold, and she looked at me as she woke.

"Grace you need to leave," she said. As I went to leave the Tardis doors shut on me, it was too late, it was trying to take us somewhere for the doctor to regenerate safely. Then I remembered the finger and how to get it to come up through the floor. The door stood up and yelled at me to go somewhere safe.

"You told me a story once, I'm not letting you leave me not today." she looked at the finger the doctor let all her regeneration power go into the finger and didn't change.
