Just a little Penny...

This weekend our neighbours cat passed away. There fore I thought I would write a poem for them.

We bought you with a penny.

you were always so ready,

for the action?!

You were so colourful and

a ray of sunshine.

A Purrfect cat you will always be

and in heaven you will stay.

They had you 16 years,

although it felt like you belonged

to the whole town.

You ruled the roust of all the cats

in town.

Picked all the fights

with the foxes and rabbits

that crossed into territories.

May I add

that you won all those fights as well.

Thats our Penny.

You kept the dogs in check

and the humans

Now,

Forever in our hearts

a Penny will stay.

Although I will remember you as a pound

or a million pounds as you were worth so much more.

Also I came up with a drawing for my second book of Edward the alien and here they are. Here is the development of it.
