Edited-Chapter 6

So, I passed my maths test. Whoop! That's the last barrier to getting to be an Art teacher. Now, I can just look forward to induction day! I did some sewing, for the first time in my life and I did it right. We have been helping our community at our church garden. Planting and rehabilitation of it, looks amazing. This also meant we went to loads of garden centres. This week is halfterm to be prepared for lots of photos on the next blog! We also ate our large baby bell from Lueven, with burgers, it was delicious!

 Chapter 6- Earthquake

When they got in the building. They realised the vile with the cure had fallen. The cure was colour changing, right now it was green, but it needed to experience an earthquake in the hands of a mortal then turn purple for the cure to work.

Everytime the earthquake started the vile fell further down. They needed to drop a mortal person down first, so that he could experience an earthquake and change the colour then they could put into a soft container to then give to Grace (immortal) to then give all the frozen a cure. But the more people they sent down there to get the cure the more frozen you got.

It also put people in mortal danger, as you didn't know how deep the hole was and what spikes were at the bottom and putting someone else's life in danger is breaking the law, with capital punishment as the result.

Therefore, Negan had to be lowered in first, then Grace. They had radios so if they needed to go deeper they could. All the police officers, Grace and Negan had gas masks on too. So they didn't freeze like the others. Negan couldn't reach the vile, he had to unclip himself and swing to get the vile, but by doing this he put himself in danger and Grace would be blamed for this. He held on to the wall and put the cure into the soft container, before jumping and grabbing Grace's hand. Whilst holding on for dear life he said this loudly through a recorded link on the radio. "I am breaking the law and it is not Grace's fault but she need to die and she needs to stop capital punishment, I trust her but, she cannot make a wish to do, she just needs to tell the truth. Ok, I am going to let go of Grace's hand now and fall to I don't know what, but it was not Grace's fault." Grace listening intently to everyone word he said and held his hand tight. Negan shook her off with immense struggle. Grace didn't want to die infront of everyone and she didn't want Negan to die either. An earthquake was happening the entire time, the more he held the vile the stronger it got, then he slipped out of her fingers and into the darkness. She listened hoping that amongst the silence she might hear him land. Then she heard a scream. An officer radioed her, he sighed before talking to Grace, "Where is Negan?! And what's your status?"

Grace had to answer, fast. Negan could be injured and no matter what she was going to get him out alive.

"I am going to tell you the truth, just like Negan said I should, he unclipped himself and let go of my hand, I have the vile but," she went radio silent for second just listening to make sure Negan is still alive. "I have to save Negan for everything to work."

The police officer knew exactly what she meant, she needed to know he was going to be ok, she was a time travelling 12 year old immortal and nothing could be more scary then loosing the person that you know you will trust in the future.

Grace realised she needed to go down and get him. Either way when she came up she was going to be arrested, if he was dead or alive. She wanted to stop capital punishment, this was how she was going to do it. Beside it's pretty hard to kill an immortal. She was determined to bring Negan up alive!

She climbed down as far as the rope would go. When she reached the bottom she could hear him calling out, injured but alive!

There was a spike in his leg. She tied the a bit of the rope around his wounded leg. Reattached eachother to the rope and got pulled up by the police officers.

Grace gave all the five the cure, but was arrested. Negan was ok and went into an ambulance pretty fast. A police officer suggested she was hung for her crime, because only then could he help her stop Capital punishment and everyone would watch.

Everyone watched not because they wanted murderers to suffer but because capital punishment had got out of hand, they needed someone to stop it and press the big red button. The big red button that stopped people from getting their heads chopped off in the police station. The button that stopped the death penalty.
