Day 16 of lockdown

Well, what a weekend. So, I got up at about 8.30 this morning. I went for a walk to the shops after having a hot cross bun. We had forgotten things like eggs and washing tablets yesterday.

Walked back and got a delivery; only to find ourselves arguing with the delivery driver. as he wanted to take a picture of us taking the delivery in our front door. Now we don't open the front door we never have. As our cats our house cats (scarred cats, they are scared of the great outdoors) and their food is there so it stops them from thinking about going outside.

Right so this man went back to his van and got the policy out and showed my mum what was right and what was wrong. We said it was ridiculous. He was all gloved and masked up, He wouldn't give mum the package until she put a note on the door to say leave in a safe place and then he left it on the door step for her to pick it up.

I understand the leave it on the doorstep cause of social distancing. but the note, she is standing there and you are talking to her. But anyways I won't name and shame cause I have already tweeted and sent a complaint, as that goes against GDPR Laws and the COVID-19 laws probably.

Rant over!!!

So we sat down after our showers and had a lovely brunch.

Then we danced in the kitchen whilst, doing the dishwasher and now my parents are in the garden, whilst I am blogging. Now I couldn't get a picture of breakfast. But instead here is some lovely pictures of the flowers in our kitchen at the moment.

Just thought I would let you read something a little different today.

Anyways so, here is chapter 1 of the secrets it gets intense people.

Chapter 1

Jennifer and Her cousin Kristy were shutting up shop. They owned a barista in the countryside. Just next to the sea side. Just as they were shutting up shop two kids came running in the some ice cream.

However, for a minute all went dark. Jennifer was in the kitchen and Kristy was in the front giving the kids an ice cream. As the kids went to leave the electrics went funny. then they looked down. Water was gushing in from somewhere. the door would not budge as it was gushing in fast.

Jennifer pushed the door open from the kitchen with two fire extinguishers. She had an idea. there were two wooden walls keeping the Place stable. If they hit the wall right in the middle they would be able to get out before they drowned.

So Jennifer and the boy hit one wall and Kristy and the young girl hit the opposite side.

Back and forth. As they hit they could here the wood splintering. The fire extinguishers were strong and the metal was bright. So bright that when Jennifer looked back to give it a push for the thud. She could swear she saw something glowing in the water. Now the water was just up to her knees.

Kristy had, had no luck in making a hole in the wall. Jennifer had made a hole but had uncovered an old cupboard. Inside the old cupboard was a lift. They had got the barista off an old company, they said the shack had been there for as long as they could remember and some rooms may of been shut off as they were considered not useful.

Jennifer called to Kristy.

'Come here, there may be a way out.'

Kristy ran over as Jennifer and the boy frantically pressed the button on the lift hoping it would open. They could see the numbers going up but when it got to them it said 0.

Ground 0. They doors creaked open and they all climbed inside. Constantly pressing the close door button to get the doors to shut before all the water came gushing in after them. It went down and down.

It went on forever....

Now I have not done any illustrations yet, so instead here is a drawing of the sunflowers I did last weekend.
