Day 21 of lockdown

Right, sorry its a late one its been a busy day. Got rest of work done. Helped to clean garden so that we could sit outside. We watched my cousin sing whilst eating Easter eggs at 9 which was probably the best part of the day. Well done Alfie.

We also had a curious robin today.

So cool, he let me get very close for photos.

Well as promised chapter 6 of the secrets

Chapter 6

When they were ready the men turned up. They drove their essentials to the house then both came back for the two couples.

We looked in the back the van. It was set up like a small bedroom.

"The drive will be 2 hours you might as well sleep." Said one of the men.

In this moment he told us he didn't have a name but he would like one from us.

We called him Bruce.

In that moment we realised he looked old, all that life without a name.

We climbed in the back of the van. We were both given new phones, completely encrypted so we could only phone our family.

This was it a new secret life.

But when I climbed in the van I planned on telling my girlfriend something. Something I discovered after the barisita flooded.

We played down ready to sleep and I edged into the thought.

"If we are gonna live together I need to show you something. It might help actually cause I know your scared of the dark. " I said

She looked at me in aww for a sec, intrigued. "Go on then." She said.

"Just promise me you won't be freaked out" I asked.

"Weirdos forever," she laughed, "just show me".

I held her hand, closed my eyes. There we lay for a moment holding hands, laying on our side covers over us.

Lights shot upwards from my body, shooting to the roof of the van, glowing blue and gold. Then I glowed I opened my eyes and we played on our backs. Watching me create the bright night sky.

"Wow" said (Kristina). "But how?" She asked.

"I don't know, it started to happen after the flood my cousin can do it as well. I swore I could see something glowing in the water. I think it was flooded on purpose." I replied

" but what I want to know is what happened to those kids?" I asked myself

"Kids?!" Said Kristina "What kids?"

"There were two kids in there with us the men, every time we ask they change the subject. I just hope their OK."

"Let's not think about that, we can sort it later. Let's just lay and watch these stars" said Kristina watching the stars with wide eyes. She cuddled Astrid and they fell asleep. Astrid carried on glowing even when they slept. She could only turn it off when they woke.
