Quarantine, there's nothing like a good scary movie.
But anyways stay safe, as I need someone to read my blog and my new books of Edward the alien.
life is amazing and we can't waste it by breaking the rules.
Stay inside and stay safe.
Now as requested here is chapter 8.
Chapter 8
“AHHHHHHHH!”
They heard from the very top floor of the house. Everyone woke up, lavender ran upstairs and checked on Ricky and Sam immediately. They were fine, none they knew was hurt.
They heard another scream.
“MONSTERRRRR!”
Lavender and the others grabbed a gun each and pelted up the stairs. There was a long corridor. Lavender knew this was the nursery. The door was locked, the handle was moving and all they could hear was a baby crying, a woman screaming ‘monster, zombie, please sir don’t do it!'
They could hear a tapping noise as if teeth were clattering together, biting constantly.
They pointed their guns to the door, fully loaded and ready to fire.
“MOVE AWAY FROM THE DOOR” yelled Louie who was the first inline, lavender followed right behind.
The nurse on the other side with a baby cradled in her arms dodged the zombie in front of her. Louie kicked the door in. The wood had rotted, it shattered against the weight of his foot. Falling on to the zombie in front of it. They both fired as many bullets as they could until they hit the head.
Lavender lifted the door off the body. Only to find it was her ex boyfriend they had just shot. They bee botch sat on his blazer she took it off him.
“Well, I guess this is mine now then?” she said before putting it on herself. Then they heard a grown come from the corner of the room. In the wardrobe. It started to move and bursting through the doors came another. Arms failing. Except this one looked exactly the same as the last twins. She never knew that.
She walked straight up to it and placed the gun on its forehead. Then fired one single shot through its head. Splattering blood on the floor behind. Then it collapsed onto the blood on the floor.
A woman stood shaking in the corner, clutching a small crying baby. Immediately lavender and nurse Christie recognized each other. She looked after Rocky sometimes for babysitting. Lavender went up to her and the baby and gave her a hug. She took the baby off her and stopped her from crying by Nestling her ear to her chest. They say if a baby can hear a mother’s or woman’s heart beat then it should settle them down.
They all came out of the room and settled downstairs in the living room. Lavender left the baby with Sam whilst she found some baby food. The nurse and the baby had been in that room for three days.
Three days that’s all it took to turn.
The two men had, had a fight over what started the end of the world amid this the nurse was protecting the baby.
Lavenders ex boyfriend had found the baby in the first day after they broke up. He decided to take it in and raise it as their own. But this baby never changed it never grew up it just stayed a child for 3 years it has always been a small baby.
Lavender fed the starving baby and the nurse explained this all to them. Afterwards the nurse also had some food, they had both been starving locked in that room without any food or drink.
Lavender sat there and opened the brotch.
“What's that?” said Ricky.
“He left it for me to have, or that’s what he said. There’s a note inside. The thing that started the apocalypse, I think.”
There was one word on the note ‘Bees!’, that’s it that’s what started it. Lavender threw the brotch to the floor breaking it.
She tore up the note.
‘Its just a theory, always a theory' she said. As she got up and went into the kitchen alone.
Louie followed her.
‘What’s wrong?’ he said.
‘He was always so prepared for the apocalypse and when it does actually happen. It happens the exact way he told me it would. Yet he is one of the monsters when he didn’t want to be one.’ She said.
Louie walked over to her and put his arm around her. She lent on his chest.
“Its ironic isn’t it!” he said to her.
They looked at each other in a way they really should not be allowed to look at each other.
She laughed a little. Then Ricky interrupted them. They packed up each others cars and set off again. Sam wanted to go home to see where her mother had gone. However when they turned up there.
They were astonished, surprised for the entire land was untouched by zombies.
