Just a pre-warning this is going to be a long blog, as it will cover and whole week of the Easter holidays.
last day of work, Was a half day. Where i tried to do a fun lesson of maths then helps students with science in my last period. then once the students left we said our goodbyes to a precious member of the team, as it was her last day of work. She will be missed. We had a staff meeting and send off, with all the wishes of enjoying the holidays. Then the holidays begun.
The first day of holidays we packed the car and set off for wales, on the Saturday. We stayed in a place called coastal cottages in Trefin, Pembroke-shire. It was a lovely place to stay but when we arrived it was freezing, we had to put the heating on for a day to warm up. The first day/night we had the place to ourselves.
The next day family arrived and we made chilli for dinner. We spent most of those days settling in. Also my Aunt decided to go for a run. But, unfortunately, she fell over a rabbit hole and broke her ankle. So it was a trip to the A&E for my Auntie. Good thing is my 2nd cousin was with her and came sprinting when his Nanny had fallen over.
Any ways over holiday, we did various activities, including body boarding at white sands beach. Also having some amazing food, Dirty fries, in the cafe there. Then we had a lot of ice cream at St. Davids. I had clotted cream and fudge and pomegranate sorbet. I think once of my little cousin was just happy to have his bubble gum flavour ice cream, he was longing for. Then during the week we did foraging, with the wild about Pembrokeshire company, On the Caerfai beach. Where i decided to clean the beach and collect the plastic and things for painting. Also I collect shells and a mermaid purse to paint on as well. We did coasteering at the blue lagoon. We went to the wickedly welsh chocolate factory and spent £50 on making and buying chocolate. They had these amazing chocolate puddles (buttons) that are hot cross bun flavoured. Highly recommended. Lastly, it was amazing to spend time with the newest baby in the family as well. I enjoyed many dances in the kitchen to Queen with her.
We then came home recently. However the minute holiday finished, we went to Brighton for an extended camping weekend. We stayed in a campsite in Lancing. While dad did the Brighton marathon guiding our blind friend the whole way round. We saw dad 5 times and we got a lot of free dreamies for the cats. We also had the best mac and cheese ever. then we waited for them in the guide dog tent which was the charity they were both racing for. They finished it in 4.50 I think. However it was very cold. So cold that on the morning of the race there was frost, the wind was horrid.
Then we spent one more night camping and came straight home. since then I have decided to start vlogging my blogs on youtube so start looking out for me posting on my youtube channel. Dear diary...Gracie or GraceWarwick Family. I will also be creating my new book the lonely jellyfish entirely out of my blog and vlog.
