How it begins....

Spoiler alert for book 2 if Edward the alien. Please do not read if you do not want to spoil the second book.

Chapter 1 - Not worthy

Penny woke in bed, still feeling like a zombie. She wiped the green crystal from her eyes. She went to wake up her sister, who was in the bed next to her. Penny was in 6th form. They could both hear their mother rushing around in the bedroom next door. They were in a house full of people, getting ready for school or work.

However, when they both arrived downstairs. Their parents were no where to be seen. Holly could drive, so she drove them both straight to school. But, when they arrived there were no teachers. all the students were running riot in the hall and cafeteria. These places has a sliding wall, it had been left open.

On the schools TV, in the cafeteria a clip was playing over and over. It is a news clip. We had discovered an unidentified piece of technology. Today was the launch for the final test. Where ever the parents went this piece of technology had sent them there.

Penny tried getting up on stage whilst Holly was trying to stop her. Penny wanted to take charge, to help. But Holly didn't want her to get hurt. However, Penny screamed "STOP!", at the top of her voice. Only to find everyone froze and all looked at her. They all listened. Everyone always listened to Penny. As they knew she was always willing to help. Plus half the school knew her, as she did work experience, teaching them.

Penny said, she would need 5 people one from each year group to join, to stop whatever took the parents away.
