The big step!

Here, I am, I'm back!

Today, I take a lot of steps in my life, I have already thought of an ending to the series Edward the Alien. One that readers will find moving, scary, and happy.

I am having an interview that may get me to be a teacher of art and design and I am screaming inside with excitement. I have booked my practical driving test and will be passing that soon. I have also made huge leaps in art; spoilers are coming up in the illustrations below.

Some of these pieces of artwork are many different chapters of books 3 (Published) and 4 (To be Written). In book 4, I will introduce some new characters.

Character reveal!

Claudia- Penny's (Grace's) First and eldest daughter

Isaac- Claudia's friend and fellow Personal investigator

Isabelle- Biological mother of Christina

Lennon- a warrior who fought the immortals in the battle.

The sunflowers are my inspiration for wanting to be a teacher. I had a lesson on Vincent Van Gogh in year 7, I saw his art and my teacher teaching me about his art and thought there is no better job than teaching and doing the artwork (what I love) all day long!

The tree landscape is a piece I have changed but used in my portfolio for my interview. It is the first piece in my portfolio, it is an illustration of a scene in the book time riders by Alex Scarrow. I loved his books and keep reading them over and over. I have used this book as inspiration for my own book and hope many enjoy reading the Edward the Alien series.

Here is my favorite illustration and the one I enjoyed making the most for books 3 and 4. I think I may make short stories to carry on the Edward the Alien series. All short stories will be posted on this blog. This is a Character design for Penny (Grace), I gave her purple hair as this is one of my favorite colors and a penny is on the necklace around her neck as she is called Penny, for a nickname. Her wings are white to symbolize innocence. The colors in the background are the colors of her skin when she shapeshifts into alien form.

Essentially I didn't want to post anything until I knew the result of my interview but, I don't yet. So I'm going to post anyways. But I will not leave my readers hanging like me. I am doing a creative writing advent calendar to try and post every day for 25 days. On art, stories, or things I have done throughout my day. Merry Christmas, it's the 1st of December xx
